Archana Kudrimoti, MBBS MPH
Archana Kudrimoti attended medical school at Osmania Medical College Hyderabad India (MBBS Degree 1992), with additional post graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD) at Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad, India (1994).She came to United States in 1996 and made Kentucky her home since then.
She completed a Family Medicine Residency from 1999–2002 at University of Louisville and was elected as Chief Resident in the final year of residency (2001–02). She sought additional training in Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at University of Louisville and a Fellowship in Geriatrics in 2002- 2004.
Dr. Kudrimoti joined the University of Kentucky as Assistant Professor at the UK Residency Program in Hazard KY (2005- 2009). She served as the Medical Director for the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center for 2 years while residing at Hazard. She moved to Lexington in 2009 and has been practicing primary care and Geriatrics for the past 20 years at UK Healthcare in Lexington. She also spent the last 20 years teaching medical students and training resident physicians. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016 and then a full Professor 2024. She has been the Residency Program director at UK Family Medicine Residency, Lexington Campus since 2016.
