Karen Stachon has more than 30 years’ experience in the healthcare field. In her role as Senior Accreditation Specialist, she provides expert technical support for all three Cancer Accreditation Programs to internal and external constituents including site reviewers and accredited cancer programs. She also collaborates with CoC member organizations and external groups to develop, implement and monitor CoC cancer program standards.  Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Health from Northern Illinois University and earned the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Certification.  Karen has been with the ACS Cancer Programs for 21 years.
