Kristopher Cumbermack, MD, FASE, FACC
Dr. Kristopher “K.C.” Cumbermack is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky, where he serves as Medical Director of the Congenital Echocardiography Laboratory and Fetal Cardiac Program. A Stanford and University of Vermont graduate, he completed pediatric residency at UC Davis and fellowship training in pediatric cardiology and non-invasive imaging at Emory University.
Dr. Cumbermack specializes in echocardiography for diagnosing and managing complex congenital heart disease from the fetal to adult stages. At UK, he has led initiatives in education, quality improvement, and program development, including building a regional pediatric heart partnership with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Dedicated to service beyond medicine, he has also supported local families through leadership roles with the Down Syndrome Association of Central Kentucky and Kerrington’s Heart.
