Dr. Marcia Rojas Ramirez is an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. She has more than 10 years of experience in the management of chronic orofacial pain, with a focus on complex pain conditions and multidisciplinary care.

Dr. Rojas Ramirez is an active researcher focused on improving oral health outcomes among underserved populations. Her current research includes two federally funded studies examining oral health among individuals with opioid use disorders and the implementation of interventions to reduce dental opioid prescribing. She is also actively involved in educating and mentoring dental students, residents, and healthcare professionals.
