Audrey Summers, M.D.
Dr. Summers is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Louisville. She specializes in women’s mental health and reproductive psychiatry, as well as consult-liaison psychiatry at the University Hospital. She has published and presented on topics related to reproductive mental health at a regional and national level. She is also involved in the education of medical students and resident physicians. In addition to her clinical work, she is involved with many organizations including the Kentucky Psychiatric Medical Association and the Southern Psychiatric Association. She also serves as the medical director for KyCOMPASS, Kentucky’s perinatal access program. Dr. Summers completed her undergraduate education at the University of Louisville with a degree in molecular biology in 2016 and obtained her medical doctorate at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2020.
