Katie Stratton, MS
Katie Stratton, MS serves as the Program Administrator in the Division of Substance Use Disorder, where she provides technical assistance for KY-Moms Maternal Assistance Towards Recovery, a program designed to support pregnant and parenting women impacted by substance use.
With more than 12 years of experience focused on women’s substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery, Katie brings deep expertise in addressing the unique needs of pregnant and postpartum individuals. Her background as a youth and adolescent therapist and her training in trauma-informed care, implementation science, and substance-exposed infants have equipped her to work effectively at the intersection of maternal health and behavioral health.
Katie is a strong advocate for integrating evidence-based practices into maternal health settings to improve outcomes for both mothers and their babies. She also understands firsthand the importance of support systems, balancing her professional work with being a mother to her 16-year-old daughter, Maddison, and the wife of a police lieutenant. Outside of work, she leads a community archery team and is a certified Level 3 USA Archery Coach.
