Patrick Merritt is the Chief Executive Officer of A Plus Family HealthCare, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving rural South-Central Kentucky. With five school-based health centers, Patrick and his team understand the challenges of delivering timely care when a medical provider cannot be physically present in every school.

Drawing on his background in information technology and healthcare operations, Patrick approaches technology with a simple guiding principle: technology should work for the organization, not force the organization to work for the technology. That philosophy helped guide A Plus Family HealthCare’s integration of TytoCare into its school-based healthcare model.
