Dr Douglas Katz graduated from the University of Michigan Medical school and went on to complete his Residency in ophthalmology at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center. From there he completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the University of Minnesota. He has been on faculty at the University of Kentucky for over 25 years. He is listed on the National "Best Doctors" list for over a decade as well as Castle Connolly Top Doctors. He has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally. His interests include corneal transplants, infections, and diseases.
