Dr. Patricia Greer is the Director of the Resource Center for the Kentucky Center for School Safety, where she develops statewide resources and professional learning focused on creating safe, supportive, and resilient schools. She brings more than two decades of experience in public education, including serving as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, district administrator, and educational leader. As principal of Marshall County High School, Dr. Greer led the school community through the recovery process following the 2018 school shooting. That experience profoundly shaped her commitment to crisis preparedness, trauma-informed leadership, and long-term recovery for schools affected by violence.

Today, Dr. Greer serves on the National Principals Association (NPA) Principal Recovery Network, where she provides support and guidance to school leaders across the country who have experienced school tragedies. Her unique combination of professional expertise and lived experience allows her to connect with audiences through practical strategies, authentic leadership lessons, and a deep understanding of how to build resilient school communities.
