I am board certified in Anatomic and Clinical pathology with residency training from Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center (Bronx, NY) and Hematopathology fellowship training from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I am board certified in Molecular Diagnostics (HCLD) with over 20 years of experience as a pathologist as well as experience as a laboratory owner, and Hospital and Molecular Laboratory medical director. Prior to my arrival at West Virginia University, I founded and served as the medical director and laboratory director of a CAP accredited molecular laboratory. Over the past few years, I have been a co-investigator on multiple grant funded research projects. For approximately 10 years, I served as the medical director for the Molecular Pathology Laboratory at West Virginia University (WVU) Medicine. During my tenure at WVU I have also served as a surgical pathologist. Currently, I am the Director of Surgical Pathology and an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology, Anatomy and Laboratory Medicine at West Virginia University School of Medicine.
