Dr. Alexandre Ancheta is Associate Professor of Surgery and Director of the Kidney Pancreas Transplant Program at the University of Kentucky HealthCare, with clinical activity across the Lexington and Louisville sites. His surgical practice spans kidney, liver, and pancreas transplantation, with a particular interest in the surgical management of hepatocellular carcinoma and other hepatobiliary malignancies in the context of liver transplantation and resection.

Dr. Ancheta's clinical experience includes complex hepatobiliary and transplant cases, including retransplantation, pediatric en bloc grafts, and autotransplantation for anatomic vascular syndromes. He contributes to the multidisciplinary evaluation of patients with HCC, neuroendocrine metastases, and other liver tumors being considered for transplantation or resection.
