Andrew Greene, DO, FACOG

I am an Assistant Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Kentucky, where I serve as the Assistant Program Director for the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship. My academic interests center on medical education, simulation-based learning, and procedural training in obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine.
I have a passion for developing innovative educational experiences for medical students, residents, and fellows, with particular focus on obstetric simulation, ultrasound education, procedural competency, and the management of high-acuity obstetric emergencies. My work has included the design and implementation of simulation curricula focused on postpartum hemorrhage, operative vaginal delivery, maternal cardiac arrest, obstetric ultrasound, and advanced maternal-fetal medicine procedures.
My educational scholarship focuses on improving procedural training and learner competency through evidence-based teaching strategies, including research evaluating simulation-based education in obstetrics. I am particularly interested in advancing the use of simulation and technology-enhanced learning to improve trainee confidence, procedural skills, and patient care outcomes in women’s health.
