Angela Clark, DNP, RNC-OB, MSN, BSN

Angela Clark earned her BSN (2003) and MSN as a Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist (2009) from the University of Kentucky and her DNP in Organizational Leadership (2018) from Eastern Kentucky University. She has over 24 years of experience in obstetrical care and currently practices in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Baptist Health Lexington. Dr. Clark joined the University of Kentucky College of Nursing faculty in 2022 as an Assistant Professor, coordinating Maternity, Reproductive Health, and Nursing Leadership courses. Previously, she taught across ASN, BSN, RN-BSN, and DNP programs at Eastern Kentucky University, with expertise in evidence-based practice, health promotion, and role transition. She has received multiple awards, including EKU’s Critical Reading Teaching Award (2022) and the Outstanding Discipline/Application Research Award (2019), and has presented her scholarship nationally. An active leader, Dr. Clark serves as Chair of AWHONN’s Kentucky Section and served previously as the Chair of AWHONN’s national membership committee. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Nurses Association, and the Kentucky Nurses Association.
