Dr. Bonita Moore is a clinical simulation faculty member at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing Clinical Simulation and Learning Center (CSLC), currently acting as interim director of the CSLC. She brings over a decade of clinical experience in high-acuity settings at UK HealthCare, including the clinical decision unit and medical-surgical/telemetry at UKHC Good Samaritan Hospital.

Dr. Moore earned her ADN from Bluegrass Community and Technical College, her BSN and MSN (Clinical Education) from Indiana Wesleyan University, and her DNP in clinical leadership from the University of Kentucky. She is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and  Certified Nurse Educator. She has also taught NCLEX preparation and developed simulation and Next Generation NCLEX content for Kaplan.

She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of Kentucky.
