Dr. Kara A. Kennedy is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky, where her work is predominantly focused on Vascular Neurology.  She completed medical school at the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, Neurology residency at the University of Kentucky, and fellowship in Neurorehabilitation with an emphasis on stroke and brain injury recovery at Washington University in St. Louis.  She serves on multiple committees for UK College of Medicine, including as the neurology representative for the Multidisciplinary Endocarditis Team and Anticoagulation Stewardship P&T Subcommittee.
