Saman Sizdahkhani, MS MD
Saman Sizdahkhani, MS, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery at the University of Kentucky, specializing in both open and endovascular treatment of complex vascular disease. She completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University and earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Rosalind Franklin University before obtaining her MD from The Chicago Medical School. She was awarded distinction in research for her work as an NIH research scholar investigating novel therapies for atypical meningioma and Von Hippel–Lindau disease.
She completed her neurosurgery residency at the University of Southern California, where she developed an interest in cerebrovascular pathology. She then pursued a dual fellowship training in open and endovascular cerebrovascular neurosurgery at Thomas Jefferson University.
