Jessica Logeman, MD, MHSc

Jessie Logeman, MD, MHSc, is an internal medicine and palliative care physician originally from rural North Dakota. She received her undergraduate degree and medical doctorate from Duke University. She then continued her training in Boston, completing her residency, palliative care fellowship, and chief residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. She now serves as an assistant professor here at the University of Kentucky, attending in both hospital medicine and inpatient palliative care. Dr. Logeman is passionate about education (particularly at the intersection of Internal Medicine & Palliative Care) as well as supporting trainee/clinician well-being initiatives. She is one of the UK Internal Medicine Residency Core Faculty members and spends her academic time building and teaching the residency's serious illness communication curriculum. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the area with her husband and two young children, walking her dog, Scout, watching reality TV, and strength training.
