Andrea Tooley, MD is an oculofacial and orbital surgeon, and the director of aesthetics at Innovative Ophthalmology in Paducah, Kentucky. She was previously Associate Professor of oculoplastic and orbital surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota as well as Program Director for the ophthalmology residency at Mayo Clinic. She completed her ASOPRS fellowship in New York City through Weill Cornell, Columbia University, New York University, and Manhattan Ear, Eye, and Throat Hospital. Her clinical and research interests include orbital inflammatory and neoplastic disease, as well as periocular rejuvenation and reconstruction. She has published over 95 peer reviewed manuscripts on these topics. Dr. Tooley was recognized by the Ophthalmology Power List as a Rising Star in 2017, and won the Emerging Leader Award from Women in Ophthalmology in 2019. Dr. Tooley served as the chairperson of the American Academy of Ophthalmology Young Ophthalmologist Committee and has been awarded the AAO Secretariat award in 2020 and 2021 for her commitment to advocacy and membership for AAO.  She currently serves on the Secretariat for State Affairs for AAO, question writing committees for the ABO, and the podcast committee for ASOPRS. Dr. Tooley is passionate about education and mentorship for ophthalmologists. She previously co-hosted the Mayo Clinic Ophthalmology Podcast and is influential on social media.
