Mandy Jones, PharmD, MPAS, BCPS

Dr. Jones is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida College of Medicine: PA Program in 2002. She is an Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at UK HealthCare. Prior to entering Emergency Medicine, she also practiced primary care for several years as a physician’s assistant and clinical pharmacist at UK HealthCare Department of Family and Community Medicine. Dr. Jones’ primary teaching responsibilities include differential diagnosis, patient assessment, physical examination, and interprofessional education within the classroom and clinical practice settings.
Dr. Jones is a Fellow of the University’s Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education and Co-Chair of the University’s Interprofessional Curriculum Committee. Her research and published works are in the areas of team-based medical error disclosure, diagnosis instruction in pharmacy education, interprofessional education, and physical examination instruction in pharmacy education.
