Heidi S. Tirb, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky Department of Family and Community Medicine and also serves as the Medical Director of UK HealthCare Fountain Court Primary Care and Acute Care Clinic, Hamburg Primary Care Clinic, and Richmond Primary Care Clinic. She is board-certified in Family Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky and earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2007. She completed her Family Medicine residency in 2010 at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She practiced full-spectrum family medicine, including low-risk obstetrics, at Community Health Centers of Snohomish County in Everett, Washington, for four years after residency and then spent nine years in private practice at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, Indiana. She earned her Master’s in Public Health from Purdue University in 2023. With a strong foundation in both medicine and public health, she focuses on integrating clinical excellence with population health initiatives, mentoring future healthcare professionals, and advancing collaborative medical education while caring for the whole family.
