Samantha J. Zwiebel, MD, MA earned her masters in bioethics and medical doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed psychiatry residency at the University of Kentucky as one of the first research track residents and served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic. Currently she is an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania in consultation-liaison psychiatry and a faculty member of PennMedicine’s Center for Addiction Medicine and Policy. Clinically she splits her time between inpatient psychiatry consults and inpatient addiction consults working in multidisciplinary teams with a variety of trainees. Dr. Zwiebel is triple boarded in general psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, and addiction medicine.
