Lowell Anthony, MD

Dr. Lowell Anthony is a medical oncologist, Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the Markey Cancer Center and focuses on gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine neoplasms and supportive care. He is a Professor of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Medical Oncology, and the Lockey Distinguished Professor in Neuroendocrine Tumor (NET) Research. Dr. Anthony received his undergraduate degree from King University, Bristol, Tennessee, and his medical and postgraduate training in medical oncology and clinical pharmacology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He began his career as an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt and before joining the University of Kentucky (UK) in 2011, he was a Professor of Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Anthony is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
