Cassie Lyell, DNP, RN, TCRN, is a healthcare executive and trauma system leader with more than 20 years of experience in trauma, emergency, and critical care operations. She serves as Executive Director for Trauma & Burn Services at University Health, overseeing the Adult and Pediatric Level I Trauma Programs, trauma quality and performance improvement (PIPS), injury prevention, education and outreach, registry operations, and trauma-related inpatient and ambulatory services.

Dr. Lyell earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and has served as adjunct faculty in a doctoral nursing program. In addition to operational leadership, she has contributed to scholarly publications, research initiatives, and professional projects focused on advancing trauma systems, quality improvement, and patient care outcomes. She also serves as course faculty for TNCC, ATCN, RTTDC, and TOPIC and is actively involved in trauma education and professional development initiatives.
