Emily Hines, MD, FACLM

I completed my internship year at the Cleveland Clinic before transitioning to my residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic. Following residency, I further specialized with a fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at Mayo Clinic, gaining advanced expertise in the comprehensive care and rehabilitation of individuals with complex neurologic injuries.
I have a special interest in integrating evidence-based lifestyle interventions—including nutrition, physical activity, sleep optimization, stress management, and behavior modification—into rehabilitation and brain injury care. This commitment led me to become board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. My approach emphasizes whole-person, patient-centered treatment strategies aimed at improving long-term function, recovery, and overall well-being.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family—my husband, our two-year-old daughter, and our English Shepherd, Ollie.
