"Dr. Justin Canada is an Associate Professor within the School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology - VCU Pauley Heart Center at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is an American College of Sports Medicine Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a background in the application of clinical exercise testing and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in patients with or at risk of cardiovascular, pulmonary, and/or metabolic disease. He directs the cardiopulmonary exercise testing labs within the VCU Pauley Heart Center for both clinical and research purposes. Additionally, he is an active investigator within the VCU Pauley Heart Center examining aspects of cardiorespiratory fitness in patients with heart failure syndromes and populations at high-risk of heart failure such as cancer survivors. “
