I am an interventional cardiologist and endovascular specialist with a focus in peripheral vascular disease at Yale University. I work in the cardiac catheterization laboratory performing invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures and treating coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease with percutaneous minimally invasive procedures.  I am the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London, Connecticut which is the only percutaneous coronary intervention capable ST-elevation myocardial infarction center in eastern Connecticut.  We also perform elective percutaneous coronary interventions without onsite surgical backup.   My educational efforts are centered on the training of interventional and peripheral vascular fellows.  My research efforts involve genetic testing for clopidogrel responsiveness and interventional cardiology and endovascular device development.
