Vicki serves as the Executive Director of Trauma Services for Banner Health. She brings more than 25 years of experience as a Trauma Program Manager/Director prior to stepping into this Executive leadership role in 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing focused on adult critical care and trauma nursing from the University of Alabama. She remains professionally active at the local, state, and national levels, holding membership in several key organizations including the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST), the American Trauma Society (ATS), and the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) where she has served on the STN Board of Directors and the Journal of Trauma Nursing Editorial Board and continues to contribute as a reviewer. Vicki is a frequent national presenter on a wide range of trauma-related topics, sharing her expertise with multidisciplinary audiences across the country. She remains active as an instructor, faculty member, and coordinator for multiple trauma education courses. She continues to serve as an ACS trauma center site reviewer and a state trauma surveyor.
