Amy Koestner, MSN, RN, is the Director of Trauma Services for Corewell Health Butterworth, an ACS verified Level I Trauma Center, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Amy has a 30-year nursing career, with experience spanning the bedside in pediatric and adult ICU care, regional pediatric education, flight nursing, and over 20 years as a Trauma Program Manager. 
Mrs. Koestner earned her BSN from Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, Michigan and her MSN from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Amy is an active in the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) for over 20 years, serving in a variety of leadership roles, including President in 2008. She is a Nurse Reviewer for ACS Trauma Verification Committee and the State of Michigan designation process. Amy remains active as faculty for ATCN, TNCC, Optimal Trauma Center Course and TCAA Dynamic Leadership Team Course.
