Morgan Boatwright, BSN, RN is a Nurse Liaison with the Gill Affiliate Network at University of Kentucky Hospital. With 12 years of nursing experience at University of Kentucky Hospital, Morgan has spent her career caring for patients in an ICU step-down setting, including nine years focused on cardiovascular and thoracic patient care.

Early in her nursing career, Morgan discovered a strong passion for caring for cardiac patients and chose to make cardiovascular care her specialty focus. Her clinical background has given her a deep appreciation for the complexity of cardiac and thoracic conditions, as well as the importance of clear communication, collaboration, and patient-centered care.

In her current role with the Gill Affiliate Network, Morgan supports connections across care teams and helps strengthen relationships that improve the cardiac patient experience. She is proud to contribute to the Cardiac Conference alongside her peers and coworkers and remains committed to advancing high-quality care for cardiovascular patients across the region.
