Caroline Buchanan is an Associate Professor of Bioethics at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She serves as an ethics consultant throughout the UK Healthcare Enterprise, sits on the UK Hospital Ethics Committee, and chairs the Pediatric Ethics Committee at Golisano Children’s Hospital as UK. In addition, Dr. Buchanan directs and teaches in the UK College of Medicine Scholarly Concentration in Bioethics. She earned her PhD in Philosophy from UK in 2017, and has been a faculty here at UK since 2019.
