Nora Gonzales is the mother of two girls. Her oldest daughter, Evie, was diagnosed with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss in 2023 at 2 weeks old after she didn't pass her newborn hearing screen and which started their family journey into language rich environments, hearing devices and all kinds of other topics that come with a D/HH child. Evie got bilateral hearing aids at 3 months old and still wears them daily. Nora and her husband Josh have his two older kiddos full time, ages 12 & 13, along with their two girls, ages 3 and 1, so it is a big, busy and fun house in Elsmere, KY, where they call home.
