Sunni Shepherd
Sunni Hudson, Au.D., entered the field of audiology in 2010. She currently serves as the Audiology Services Regional Coordinator and Pediatric Audiologist for the Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs (OCSHCN). In this role, she provides direct clinical services to pediatric patients across four locations and oversees the planning, development, and coordination of diagnostic and management services within the eastern region of Kentucky, including collaboration with state and contracted providers.
Dr. Hudson earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Communication Disorders from the University of Kentucky in 2006. She went on to complete both her Master of Arts in Audiology (2008) and Doctor of Audiology (2010), with a concentration in Aural Rehabilitation, at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
In addition to her clinical and administrative roles, Dr. Hudson serves as an audiology consult co-investigator for Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program initiatives and federal grant activities. She has also contributed to the profession through past service on the Kentucky Speech-Language-Hearing Association Executive Council and the Kentucky chapter of Hands & Voices Board of Directors.
