I am a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician specializing in neuromodulation, minimally invasive spine procedures, and advanced treatments for complex chronic pain. I serve as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and as Program Director of the University of Kentucky Pain Medicine Fellowship.

My research focuses on sacroiliac joint fusion, spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and emerging treatments for vertebrogenic and discogenic pain. I have served as a principal investigator for multiple clinical studies and as Clinical Coordinating Investigator for the multicenter STACI sacroiliac joint fusion trial. My scholarly work includes peer-reviewed publications, consensus guidelines, book chapters, and presentations at national scientific meetings.

As an educator and mentor, I teach physicians and trainees locally and nationally through organizations including the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, North American Neuromodulation Society, and American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. I am committed to advancing evidence-based interventional pain care, strengthening fellowship education, and preparing the next generation of pain medicine physicians to combine clinical excellence, thoughtful innovation, and patient-centered care.
