Dr. Achtyl earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from D’Youville University in Buffalo, New York, and is currently a second-year clinical neuropsychology postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Neurology at the University of Kentucky. Her clinical training includes neuropsychological assessment of patients with epilepsy, including presurgical and postsurgical evaluations, as well as patients with neurodegenerative disorders, movement disorders, acquired brain injury, and cerebrovascular disease. Her professional interests include concussion and brain injury, neurodegenerative diseases, and epilepsy, with a particular interest in neuropsychological outcomes following neurosurgical interventions.
