Stacy Stanifer is an advanced practice registered nurse, oncology clinical nurse specialist and assistant professor of nursing at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. Her research focuses on cancer risk reduction and how extreme weather events disrupt cancer and outcomes. She is a member of the MCC Cancer Prevention and Control group, co-lead of the UK Center for Appalachian Research in Environmental Sciences and is president of the Bluegrass Oncology Nursing Society.
