Dr. Oluwatoyin Akinsiku, MD
Dr. Oluwatoyin Akinsiku earned her medical degree from the Oba Okunade Sijuade College of Health Sciences, Igbinedion University, Okada, Nigeria. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where she developed expertise in managing complex medical and dermatologic conditions.
She is currently a PGY-4 Infectious Disease Fellow at the University of Kentucky, where she is further specializing in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of infectious diseases. Her clinical interests include chronic skin diseases, tropical and emerging infections, and inflammatory conditions, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of infectious diseases and dermatologic manifestations.
Dr. Akinsiku is deeply committed to advancing equitable healthcare access both locally and globally. She actively participates in medical outreach initiatives serving underserved communities and is interested in improving infectious disease care in resource-limited settings.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys gardening, reading, and traveling
