David Spach, MD
Dr. Spach is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Spach is founder and editor-in-chief of five federally-funded national curricula: National HIV Curriculum (www.hiv.uw.edu), the National STD Curriculum (www.std.uw.edu), National HIV PrEP Curriculum (www.hivprep.uw.edu), and Hepatitis C Online (www.hepatitisC.uw.edu), and Hepatitis B Online (www.hepatitisB.uw.edu). He is also the Principal Investigator and Clinical Director of the Mountain West HIV/AIDS Education and Training Center. He has received multiple teaching honors, including the HIV Medicine Association (HIMVA) Clinical Educator Award, Ryan White National AIDS Education and Training Center Award, the University of Washington Department of Medicine Paul Beeson teaching award, the Marvin Turck Outstanding Teaching Award, and the University of Washington Outstanding Faculty CME Award.
