Dr. Shaun Mohan is an Associate professor of Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and is the Medical Director of Pediatric & Congenital Electrophysiology at UK Healthcare. He has an appointment within the UK Gill Heart Institute as one of the Electrophysiology Faculty and manages/sees patients at both KY Congenital Heart Clinic-Pediatric Cardiology clinic and the UK Gill Heart Kentucky Adult Congenital Heart clinic.  He built/developed in the invasive EP program for pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease in collaboration with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center Heart Institute when the Joint Pediatric Heart Care program was formed in 2016 between CCHMC and UK Healthcare.  In addition to managing/treating patients with rhythm abnormalities and congenital heart disease he also teaches residents and fellows at UK Healthcare and participates in the training of EP fellows through UK Gill Heart Institute. He continues to expand EP services for patients in this region of the Commonwealth that UK Healthcare services. His other role is the Medical Director for Project ADAM which serves to improve access to AEDs at public schools and increase awareness of SCD in the young.
