Hiffsa Taj, MD, joins the UK Markey Cancer Center as a board-certified hematologist/oncologist who treats lymphoma and hematologic disorders.

Dr. Taj earned her medical degree from Khyber Medical College in Pakistan. She then completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where she was chief resident her final year. She received UCF’s “Most Likely to Impact Patient Care” award at the annual Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Forum. Dr. Taj completed her hematology/ oncology fellowship at the University of Kentucky.

She is the author of a number of articles and presentations on leukemia, lymphoma and other topics. Outside of work, Dr. Taj enjoys strength training and running.

She is fluent in English, Urdu and Pushto.
