After this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the epidemiology of alcohol associated liver diseases and the burden of AUD, anxiety, and depression in this population
  • Describe key metabolic factors to consider when prescribing treatments for AUD and psychiatric conditions in patients with liver dysfunction.
  • Identify strategies to effectively advocate for patients with alcohol-related liver disease that promote treatment of AUD and psychiatric comorbidities
