At the completion of this lecture attendees should be able to:

 

1. Describe perspective on the role of the Laboratory Medical Director in a community hospital setting.

2. Discuss the medical director’s duty in specific areas of the Clinical laboratory i.e. blood bank, clinical chemistry hematology, etc.

3. Detail a general impression of the anatomic pathology material which is routinely evaluated by a community hospital pathologist.
